● Program Overview

What You’ll Learn

Participants will explore photography as both an art form and a tool for visual storytelling. Throughout the week, they will learn the fundamentals of camera operation, composition, lighting, and creative image-making. Through photo walks and creative challenges, participants will practice portrait, landscape, and documentary photography while developing their own artistic style.

Program Structure

Campers spend each day exploring rhythm, melody, and a variety of instruments in small groups, giving them plenty of individual support. They’ll practice the basics, experiment with songwriting, and join group jams that build confidence and collaboration. At the end of the summer, they’ll share what they’ve created in a final performance.

What’s Included

Each camp includes daily instruction, guided photo shoots, editing workshops, creative challenges, portfolio development, and personalized feedback in a supportive learning environment. Students should bring their own camera and any required materials, including memory cards, film, batteries, and other photography supplies. This allows students to continue practicing with the same equipment long after camp has ended.

Ways to Engage

Students can enroll in either week-long camps or individualized lessons, depending on their interests and learning goals. Our week-long camps offer an immersive creative experience filled with photography projects, photo walks, editing workshops, and opportunities to connect with fellow young artists. Individual lessons provide personalized instruction tailored to each student's pace, interests, and skill level. Whether joining a camp or working one-on-one, students gain hands-on experience with both digital and analog photography, developing technical skills and creative confidence.

Camper Age Groups

Programs are designed for students ages 13–18 and bring together photographers of varying experience levels in a small-group setting. Rather than separating students by age, enrollment is intentionally limited to allow for individualized instruction and project-based learning tailored to each participant's interests and skill level. This approach creates a collaborative studio environment where younger and older students can learn from one another while receiving personalized guidance and support.
